Kuromoji essential oil

The essential oil of Lindera umbellata (called Kuromoji in Japan) is a rare and precious essence with a complex and elegant scent, used in Japanese aromatherapy and natural perfumery. It is woody, aromatic, amber-like and slightly spicy. Its refined, pure and deep fragrance is characteristic of Japanese essences used in incense ceremonies (Kōdō). It brings mental clarity and serenity, promoting mental clarity and concentration. In aromatherapy, it is a mild tonic with slightly expectorant properties. When diffused, it purifies the air and promotes grounding and concentration.
