Widely used in Japanese aromatherapy and natural and niche perfumery for its deep woody notes, purifying properties, and soothing, sacred aura. Woody – Amber – Resinous – Earthy, Deep, warm, woody, slightly smoky and amber, with accents of cedar, leather and sweet incense.
Purifying and antiseptic for the atmosphere (rich in thujopsene and hinokitiol, powerful natural biocides).
Relaxing and nerve-balancing: calms the mind, promotes deep relaxation and meditation. Grounding and comforting: strengthens emotional stability, soothes tension, dispels fears. Energy cleansing: used in space purification rituals in Japan.
